Tronic Downlighter LED 5W Warm White

Our review

This Tronic downlighter is a 5-watt LED unit that gives off warm white light, the softer, slightly yellow-toned glow many people prefer in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and other indoor areas where harsh white light would feel clinical. Because it is LED, it is described as energy-efficient, which matters if you are lighting a space for several hours a day. It suits anyone fitting or replacing recessed ceiling lighting at home, in a small office, or in a rental where you want a simple, low-draw fixture. Before buying, check the cut-out size and ceiling depth your fitting needs, since those details are not listed here, and confirm the base or connector type matches your existing wiring. It is also worth comparing beam angle and colour temperature against other warm white downlighters, and deciding whether 5 watts gives enough brightness for your room size or whether you need several units. If you already have cool white lighting, mixing it with this warm white option in the same room can look uneven, so plan your layout. The downlighter is available on Sokonia.
