Tronic DP Switch 20A Waterproof IP55

Our review

This is a double pole switch rated at 20 amps, part of Tronic's waterproof series. The IP55 sealing is built around a clear silicone gasket, which lets you see whether the switch is on or off without lifting the lid, a small detail that matters when the switch is mounted somewhere damp or exposed. It suits outdoor sockets, pump houses, workshops, garden lighting and any spot where dust, rain or humidity would normally reach the wiring. Before buying, confirm the 20A rating matches the load you intend to control, check that a double pole switch is what your circuit needs rather than a single pole, and make sure the enclosure style fits your mounting. Compare it with ordinary switches by looking at how each handles moisture and how easy the position indicator is to read.
