Tronic Elegant 4-Light Silver Pendant with Frosted Glass Globes

Our review

This is a four-light pendant from Tronic, finished in silver and fitted with frosted glass globes. Because the glass is frosted rather than clear, the light it gives off is diffused and gentle, which tends to work better over a dining table or kitchen counter than a single bright bulb would. The silver finish and the rounded globes give it a contemporary look, so it sits most naturally in rooms with modern or minimalist decor rather than heavily traditional interiors. Before buying, think about the height of your ceiling and how low you want the fixture to hang, since pendants over a table usually need to clear the sightline of people seated there. Also check the number and type of bulbs the fitting takes, as that is not stated here, and confirm the ceiling rose and cable length suit your space. Compared with a clear-glass pendant of similar size, this one will feel softer and less glaring; compared with a fabric or drum shade, it will read as more polished and reflective. It suits someone furnishing a dining room, living area or kitchen who wants ambient rather than task lighting. Available on Sokonia.
