Tronic Emergency Exit LED Downlight, Circular Ceiling Bulkhead

Our review

This Tronic fitting is a circular LED downlight made for ceiling mounting, and it doubles as an emergency exit light. The bulkhead shape is the practical part: it sits flush against the ceiling rather than hanging down, which keeps it out of the way in corridors, stairwells and back-of-house areas where people pass underneath. Tronic positions it as a good pick for moist conditions and high ceilings, so it is worth considering for covered outdoor walkways, washrooms, basements or warehouse aisles where a standard indoor fixture would struggle.
Before buying, check the ceiling surface and mounting depth you are working with, since a bulkhead needs a flat, sound fixing point. Confirm the voltage and wiring arrangement your exit circuit uses, and whether your building code expects a maintained or non-maintained emergency fitting, because that changes how the light behaves day to day. Also think about beam direction and whether you need the exit legend visible from a specific approach angle.
Compared with batten-style exit signs or twin-spot emergency units, this one leans on a cleaner, lower-profile look and better tolerance of damp air. If your priority is a discreet ceiling fixture rather than a protruding sign box, it is a sensible shortlist candidate. It is available on Sokonia.
