Tronic Prepaid Energy Meter SP 60A EM SPPM-06
TSh 141,500
Our review
This is a single-phase prepaid electricity meter from Tronic, rated 60A at 220V AC with a current range of 15(60)A and 50Hz operation. It records consumption at 1600 impulses per kWh, which supports accurate prepaid billing and lets a user track how much power is being drawn. It is aimed at residential, commercial, and industrial metering where prepaid management is wanted, so it can suit a landlord metering tenants, a small business controlling usage, or a homeowner switching to prepayment. Before buying, confirm your supply is single-phase 220V and that your load stays within the 60A rating, since the meter's accuracy and safety depend on matching it to the installation. Also check whether your wiring and consumer unit are compatible with a prepaid setup and whether you need a qualified electrician to fit and configure it. Compared with basic postpaid meters, the key difference is prepaid billing and usage control; compared with other prepaid units, the impulse rate and current rating are the figures to weigh.
