Tronic Fire Alarm Bell 4 Inch Weatherproof

Our review

This is a round, red metal alarm bell from Tronic, sized at four inches and described as weatherproof, with a metal base and a two-wire connection. It suits someone putting together or replacing an audible alarm point where a compact, weather-resistant bell is wanted, such as a small workshop, gatehouse, store or outdoor wall where a buzzer would not carry. Before buying, confirm the voltage and current your alarm panel or circuit supplies, since the listing gives no electrical ratings, and check that a two-wire bell matches your wiring. Also think about sound output and mounting: a four-inch metal bell is louder and heavier than a small plastic sounder, so the surface and fixings matter. Compare with piezo sounders, which draw less power, and with larger bells if you need to cover a big area. Available on Sokonia.
