Tronic Floor Trunking 70x20mm

Our review

This is a Tronic floor trunking section measuring 70x20mm, a channel designed to run wiring across a floor rather than along a wall or ceiling. Its purpose is organisational as much as practical: cables sit inside the trunking instead of sprawling loose, which keeps runs tidier, makes individual connections easier to trace, and reduces the bunching and taping that tends to happen when wires are left exposed. The insulation support it offers matters in floor installations, where cables can otherwise be walked over or pinched. It suits anyone planning floor-level cable routes in offices, shops, or homes where a clean finish is wanted. Before buying, measure the width and depth you actually need against the cables going in, and confirm the 70x20mm profile matches the rest of your trunking run so sections join properly. Compare it with wall-mounted conduit or larger floor trunking if you have many cables or heavy foot traffic, since capacity and load tolerance differ by type.
