Tronic Golf LED 6W Daylight B22 Pin Bulb

Our review

This Tronic golf bulb is a small, round LED lamp with a transparent glass cover and a clear LED filament, so the light source stays visible rather than being hidden behind a frosted diffuser. It runs at 6 watts in a daylight colour and uses a B22 pin base, the push-in fitting common on many household lamps and pendants in Tanzania. It suits someone replacing an old incandescent golf bulb who wants lower running costs and a brighter, whiter look, or anyone fitting a fixture where the bulb itself is part of the design. Before buying, confirm your socket is B22 pin and not screw-in, and check the physical size will clear your shade or fitting. Compared with frosted LED golf bulbs, this clear version gives a more exposed filament look and a crisper light, while frosted alternatives soften glare. Also weigh daylight against warm white if the room is used mainly in the evening. Available on Sokonia.
