Tronic Grey Garden Bollard, E27, IP65 Die-Cast Aluminium

Our review

This is a mains-powered garden bollard from Tronic, built around a single E27 socket and rated IP65, so it is designed to sit outdoors where rain and dust are part of the year. The body is die-cast aluminium with clear glass, and it stands 380mm tall by 191mm wide. Because the bulb is not included, the light you actually get depends on the E27 lamp you fit, so decide early whether you want a warm, soft spread or a brighter white pool of light along a path. It suits someone lighting a walkway, driveway edge or planted border who wants a fixed, low-level fixture rather than a spike or wall light. Before buying, confirm your supply is 220-240V, check the base you plan to mount it on, and think about how many units you need spaced along the run. Compare against plastic-bodied bollards, which cost less but weather differently, and against models with integrated LEDs, which remove bulb choice but cannot be re-lamped. Available on Sokonia.
