Tronic GX53 LED Warm White Bulb

Our review

This is a Tronic LED bulb in the GX53 format, emitting warm white light. The GX53 base is a flat, twist-fit disc rather than a screw cap, so it is most often found in slim ceiling panels, under-cabinet fittings and illuminated mirrors where a standard bulb would not fit. Warm white output tends to suit bathrooms, dressing areas and bedrooms, where a softer tone is easier on the eyes than cool white. Before buying, confirm your fixture actually takes GX53 and check the wattage and colour temperature your fitting expects, since those details are not listed here. It is worth comparing against other GX53 LEDs on brightness, beam angle and dimmer compatibility, and against screw-cap alternatives if your fitting allows them. If you already own a GX53 fixture and want a warm tone, this is a straightforward match; if you are unsure of the base type, measure your old bulb first. Available on Sokonia.
