That makes it a reasonable pick if you want one cable handling both video and IP-based traffic between compatible equipment, and the extra length helps when your devices sit a couple of metres apart. Before buying, confirm the ports on your devices support HDMI 1.4v or later, since the Ethernet channel only works when both ends do. Also check whether three metres reaches comfortably without straining the connectors.
