This is a 150mm in-line duct exhaust fan from Tronic, built around a mixed flow design. Unlike a plain axial fan, a mixed flow unit moves air with more pressure behind it, which matters when air has to travel through a length of ducting rather than just out of a wall. The body is full ABS plastic, described as light in weight but strong, and it is double insulated, so no separate earth connection is needed at the fan itself. That combination suits bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and small workshops where a run of duct is involved. Before buying, measure your duct diameter and check the mounting space, since a 150mm inline fan sits inside the duct run rather than flat against a wall or ceiling. Also think about how you will power and switch it, and whether you need access for cleaning.
