Tronic Inground Light IP65 5W LED Recessed Floor Spotlight

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a recessed LED spotlight designed to sit flush with the ground or be buried in a garden bed, and it runs without a transformer, which simplifies wiring compared with low-voltage garden lights that need one. The IP65 rating means it is sealed against dust and water jets, so it is a reasonable candidate for pathways, patios, entrances, staircases, halls and gazebo surrounds where a small pool of light is wanted rather than broad illumination. It suits a homeowner planning a few accent points along a walkway or steps. Before buying, confirm the mounting depth and cut-out your surface allows, since recessed fittings depend on that, and check whether your supply suits a fixture of this type. Compare against spike-mounted spots, which are easier to reposition but sit above the ground, and against higher-wattage inground units if you need a wider spread. Available on Sokonia.
