Tronic Insect Killer 6W Mosquito Zapper

Our review

This is a plug-in style flying insect killer from Tronic rated at 6 watts. Insects that touch the electrified element are destroyed on contact, and the housing is made from fireproof ABS, which the maker describes as odourless, non-toxic and safe around people. It suits a bedroom, sitting room or kitchen where mosquitoes and other small flying insects are a nightly nuisance, and it works best in a closed room so insects are drawn toward it rather than drifting in from outside. Before buying, think about the size of the space you need to cover and whether a 6-watt unit is enough for it, since higher-wattage zappers generally handle larger rooms. Also consider how you will clean dead insects off the element, and whether you prefer a zapper or a chemical spray or repellent, which cover different situations. Check the plug type and voltage suit Tanzanian sockets, and look at the replacement or cleaning instructions. It is available on Sokonia.
