Tronic Integrated T5 LED 2ft Daylight Tube, 9W

Our review

This is a two-foot integrated LED batten from Tronic, rated at 9 watts and described as a daylight fitting. Because the tube and driver are built into one unit, it is the kind of light you fit where a compact, low-consumption strip is wanted rather than a fixture that takes replaceable fluorescent tubes. It suits small indoor areas such as a kitchen counter, wardrobe, corridor, store room, or a workspace bench where a slim 2ft light is enough. Before buying, check the length you actually need, since two feet is short and will not light a large room on its own. Also confirm how you intend to switch it on, and whether your ceiling or wall position suits a surface-mounted batten. Compare it with standard fluorescent battens, which use more power and need separate tubes and starters, and with LED battens that offer a choice of colour temperature. If you want a simple, efficient indoor light in a compact size, this is a reasonable option to weigh up.
