Tronic Keycard Switch – Grey, Wireless Keycard-Activated

Our review

This is a keycard-activated switch from Tronic, finished in grey with a screwless front, smooth edges and a metal plate. It is wireless, so it relies on keycard activation rather than a conventional toggle, and the styling is aimed at interiors where fittings are meant to be seen rather than hidden. It suits hotel rooms, serviced apartments, guesthouses or a home office where you want lights or power to follow whoever holds the card. Before buying, confirm the card technology your existing cards use and whether the switch matches your wiring and mounting setup, since no specifications are listed here. Compare it with wired keycard switches and with plainer plastic alternatives; the metal plate and screwless face are the main points of difference. Available on Sokonia.
