These Tronic lugs are heavy-duty battery cable ends built for connections that run hot and need to stay secure. The closed design covers the joint for better insulation and safety, while the flared opening makes it easier to feed stranded cable into the barrel before crimping or soldering. Because the construction is rated to handle high temperatures, they suit engine bays, inverters, solar battery banks and other demanding 12mm cable runs. Heat shrink tubes come pre-cut to common diameters, which saves time on a multi-terminal job. Before ordering, confirm your cable's actual cross-section and the stud size you are bolting to, since the 240mm and 12mm figures need to match your setup.
