Tronic Mechanical Interlock for 400A 4-Pole Contactors

Our review

This Tronic mechanical interlock is a safety accessory for 4-pole contactors rated up to 400 Amps. It physically prevents two contactors from being closed at the same time, which matters in changeover, reversing, and backup supply arrangements where simultaneous closure could cause a short circuit or damage equipment. It suits electricians, panel builders, and maintenance teams working on industrial installations rather than casual users. Before buying, confirm your contactor's frame size and pole configuration match, since interlocks are made to pair with specific contactor families and mounting arrangements. Compare it with electrical interlocks and other mechanical locking kits: mechanical types are simpler and do not depend on control wiring, but they must align correctly with your contactor's mounting points. Check compatibility with your existing Tronic contactor and the panel layout before ordering. Available on Sokonia.
