Tronic Modern Black Double Wall Sconce with Frosted Glass Shades

Our review

This Tronic wall light is a double-arm sconce finished in black, with two frosted white glass shades. Because the shades are frosted rather than clear, the light they give tends to read softer and less glaring, which suits hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and reception or corridor areas in commercial premises. The pairing of a dark frame with white glass is fairly forgiving, so it sits comfortably in both modern and more traditional rooms. Before buying, check the dimensions of the backplate and arms against your wall space, and confirm the fitting type and bulb wattage your electrician will need, since none of that is listed here. Also think about how it compares with a single-arm sconce, which may be better for narrow walls, or with a flush ceiling light if you want broader, more even illumination. Mounting height and whether you want it switched at the wall are worth deciding early. Available on Sokonia.
