Tronic Modern Travertine Triple Globe Wall Light

Our review

This Tronic wall light is a decorative fixture built around three frosted globe diffusers set on a backplate finished to look like natural travertine. The mix of glass, iron and stone-effect material gives it a sculptural quality, so it works best where the fitting itself is part of the design rather than something to disappear into the wall. It suits hallways, stairwells, bedroom walls, dining areas or a lounge corner where you want gentle, diffused light instead of a bright task beam.
Because the globes are frosted, expect a soft glow rather than sharp downward light, which makes it a poor fit for reading or detailed work. Before buying, check the dimensions of the backplate and the spacing of the globes against your wall area, and confirm the bulb fitting, wattage and whether bulbs are included, since none of that is stated here. Also consider how the travertine effect will sit beside your existing finishes. Compared with plain metal sconces, this one leans decorative; compared with fabric shades, it is more architectural and easier to wipe clean.
