Tronic Modern Up & Down Wall Light, 2x5W IP65

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a two-direction wall light, meaning it throws light both upward and downward from a single cylindrical body. That pattern is what gives walls, entrances and facades their layered, architectural look, rather than the flat wash you get from a standard bulkhead or floodlight. It is rated IP65, so it is built to handle outdoor exposure, and the 2x5W figure tells you it runs two 5W sources, one for each direction. It suits homeowners and builders who want decorative exterior lighting on a modest energy draw, particularly along pathways, gate pillars or building fronts where the up-and-down effect reads clearly. Before buying, check the colour temperature and whether the LEDs are integrated or replaceable, since neither is stated here. Also confirm the voltage and whether a driver is included, and look at the beam angle if you need tight or wide coverage. Compared with single-direction wall lights, this gives a more deliberate look but needs more thought about placement height, since the upward beam can spill where you do not want it.
