Tronic Orange LED 2W E27 Screw Bulb

Our review

This is a small Tronic LED bulb with an E27 screw base, rated at 2 watts and finished in orange. Because it draws so little power, it suits fittings where a soft coloured glow matters more than brightness: a bedside lamp, a hallway night light, a decorative holder, or a socket you leave on for long stretches. The case for LED here is running cost and lifespan. Tronic states LEDs use at least 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs, last 35 to 50 times longer than incandescent, and roughly 2 to 5 times longer than fluorescent. Before buying, check that your fitting takes an E27 screw base and that 2W gives the light level you want, since low-wattage bulbs are dim by design. Compare against other E27 LEDs on wattage, colour, and whether you need white light instead of orange. Available on Sokonia.
