Tronic Outdoor Wall Lamp in Black with Acrylic Glass

Our review

This is a black outdoor wall lantern from Tronic, made with acrylic glass instead of the traditional clear or frosted glass panels you often see on exterior fittings. The manufacturer describes it as waterproof, sturdy and fashionable, and positions it as part of a security lighting setup rather than purely decorative garden lighting. That combination suits a homeowner or landlord who wants a wall-mounted light beside an entrance, gate, or along an exterior wall where rain and dust are a daily reality.
Before buying, think about how the lamp will be mounted and wired, since outdoor fittings usually need an electrician and a suitable IP-rated junction or back box. Check the wall material too, because masonry, timber and metal cladding need different fixings. It is also worth comparing this with similar lantern-style wall lights: some use glass, which can chip, while acrylic tends to be lighter and more resistant to impact, though it can scratch over time. Match the finish to your other exterior hardware, and confirm the lamp's dimensions against the space you have. Available on Sokonia.
