Tronic 6W PLC LED Bulb, 2-Pin G24 Base, Daylight
TSh 4,500
Our review
This is a plug-in compact LED lamp from Tronic, rated at 6 watts and fitted with a 2-pin G24 base. It is the kind of bulb used in recessed downlights, wall fixtures and similar indoor fittings that take plug-in lamps rather than screw-in ones. It suits anyone replacing a failed compact fluorescent in a G24 socket who wants LED efficiency instead. Before buying, confirm your fixture uses a 2-pin G24 connection, since 4-pin versions and screw bases look similar but will not fit. Also check the physical length and width your fitting allows, and whether the daylight colour suits the room. Compared with older plug-in CFLs, LED versions like this generally run cooler and last longer, but output and colour vary between models, so match the wattage and light appearance to the fixture you are replacing. The bulb is available on Sokonia.
