Tronic Prismatic Fitting 4Ft Single

Our review

This is a single 4ft prismatic fitting from Tronic, a ceiling-mounted light designed to spread general illumination across a room. The prismatic diffuser is the key detail here: it softens and spreads the light rather than throwing a harsh, concentrated beam, which is why fittings of this style turn up in workshops, shops, corridors, offices and utility rooms as often as they do in homes. It suits anyone who needs even, everyday lighting over a working area rather than a decorative centrepiece.
Before buying, check the tube holder and fitting size match the lamp you intend to use, and confirm the ceiling surface and mounting points suit your space. Compare it with batten fittings, which are simpler and cheaper but give a rawer light, and with LED panel lights, which are slimmer and more modern but usually cost more. If you want a traditional, serviceable ceiling light, this is a reasonable option available on Sokonia.
