Tronic Pyramid Crystal LED Bulb, 5W Prism Design

Our review

This is a decorative LED bulb rather than a workhorse light source. The Tronic Pyramid Crystal LED Bulb uses a faceted, angular prism shape that borrows from modern architecture, so the fitting itself becomes part of the room instead of something you hide behind a shade. At 5W it is modest, and the output is described as a warm ambient glow, which points to mood lighting, a bedside table, a hallway nook or a pendant over a dining table rather than task lighting. It suits renters and decorators who want a visible bulb as a small statement piece, and anyone styling a shelf or alcove where the crystal form can be seen. Before buying, check the cap type and dimensions against your fixture, since no specifications are listed here, and confirm the colour temperature and brightness suit the space. Compare it with plain filament or opal LED bulbs if you mainly need even, bright light, and with other sculptural crystal designs if the look matters more than output.
