Tronic Recessed Aluminum LED Profile, 3 Meter

Our review

This Tronic profile is an aluminium housing for LED strip lighting, sold as a bare 3-metre length without the strip itself. It is recessed, meaning it sits into a cut groove rather than on the surface, so the light ends up flush with the surrounding ceiling, wall or furniture panel. That makes it a sensible pick for anyone planning a built-in lighting run during a build or renovation, or for cabinet and joinery work where a clean line matters more than a quick stick-on fix.
Before ordering, confirm the strip you intend to use fits the channel and that you have the tools and fixings to cut a straight recess; the profile can be trimmed to length, but the opening has to be accurate. Also think about how you will close the ends and diffuse the light, since those parts affect the final look. Compared with surface-mounted channels, this one hides the fitting but demands more preparation, so weigh that against simpler alternatives if you are retrofitting an existing room.
