Tronic Recessed Downlight 6W + 3W Tri Colour ILU DO09-TC

Our review

This Tronic recessed downlight is a ceiling fitting that lets you switch between three colour temperatures: Warm White, Cool White and Daylight. It also has two power levels, 6W and 3W, so you can choose a brighter or dimmer output depending on the room and time of day. That flexibility makes it a reasonable pick for spaces where the mood or task changes, such as a living area, hallway or workspace, rather than a spot where you want one fixed light colour forever.
Before buying, check the ceiling cut-out size and depth your ceiling can take, since recessed fittings only work if the hole matches. Also confirm the colour temperature you want most often, because tri-colour lights are switched between modes rather than tuned gradually. Compare with fixed single-colour downlights, which are simpler but less adaptable, and with higher-wattage units if you need more light from fewer fittings. The model code to note is ILU DO09-TC, available on Sokonia.
