Tronic Recessed Downlight Round 6W Tri Colour ILU DR06-TC

Our review

This is a round recessed ceiling downlight from Tronic, rated at 6 watts and built around three colour settings: Warm White, Cool White and Daylight. That tri-colour flexibility is the main reason to consider it. A single fitting can shift from a relaxed warm glow in a bedroom or lounge to a crisper cool or daylight tone for a kitchen, hallway, study or retail corner, so you are not locked into one mood after installation. It suits anyone planning or refreshing a ceiling lighting layout, particularly where several matching fittings are wanted across rooms. Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has or that your electrician plans, since a recessed fitting only works if the hole size and mounting depth match. Also confirm whether your switch arrangement lets you cycle between the three colours the way you expect, and think about how many units a circuit can carry. Compared with fixed-colour downlights, this one trades a little simplicity for versatility; compared with smart or dimmable alternatives, it keeps things straightforward. If you mainly want one consistent tone everywhere, a single-colour fitting may be simpler and cheaper. If you want options from the same fixture, this is the type to shortlist. Available on Sokonia.
