Tronic Recessed Downlight Round 6W Warm White ILU DR06-WH-WW

Our review

This is a round recessed downlight from Tronic, rated at 6 watts and finished in warm white light. It is the kind of fitting chosen for ceilings where you want light to sit flush rather than hang down, and the warm white tone tends to suit living areas, bedrooms, corridors and hospitality spaces better than a cooler white would. Because it is only 6 watts, it works best as accent or ambient lighting in smaller zones rather than as the sole light source for a large room. Before buying, check the cut-out diameter your ceiling already has, since recessed fittings are sized to the hole rather than the visible trim, and confirm the ceiling cavity has room for the body of the unit. Also think about how many you need and whether they will run on one switch, as a row of low-wattage downlights adds up. Compared with surface-mounted spots or track lighting, a recessed unit gives a cleaner ceiling line but is harder to reposition later. If you are replacing an existing fitting, matching the cut-out matters more than matching the brand. The model reference is ILU DR06-WH-WW, and it is available on Sokonia.
