Tronic Recessed Downlight Round 9W Warm White ILU DR09-WH-WW

Our review

This Tronic downlight is a round recessed fitting rated at 9 watts and a warm white colour, sold under the model code ILU DR09-WH-WW. Warm white light tends to feel softer and more restful than cooler tones, so it generally suits bedrooms, living rooms, corridors and other spaces where you want a relaxed atmosphere rather than crisp task lighting. Because it is recessed, it sits flush with the ceiling and gives a tidy, uncluttered look. Before buying, check the ceiling cut-out size and depth your ceiling can take, and confirm the beam angle and brightness suit the room, since none of these are listed here. It is also worth comparing with other recessed downlights of similar wattage, especially if you need several fittings on one circuit or want a consistent look across a room. If you already use warm white bulbs elsewhere, this should blend in reasonably well. Available on Sokonia.
