Tronic Rectangular Wall Light, E27, IP65 Aluminium, White

Our review

This is a rectangular wall-mounted light fitting from Tronic, finished in white and made from aluminium. It takes a single E27 bulb, so the light you get depends on the lamp you fit rather than on the fixture itself, and it runs on AC 220 to 240 volts. At 149mm high and 285mm wide it is a fairly wide, low-profile shape, which tends to suit placement along a wall rather than in a tight corner. The IP65 rating is the detail worth noting: it indicates protection against dust and water jets, which is why this kind of fitting is often chosen for outdoor walls, bathrooms or other damp spots. Because no bulb is included, budget for one separately and pick a wattage and colour temperature that match the space. Before buying, check the dimensions against the wall area you have in mind, confirm your supply is 220 to 240V, and think about whether you want a warm or cool bulb, since that will change the look more than the fitting does. Comparable wall lights differ mainly in material, IP rating and base type, so weigh those against where you plan to install it. Available on Sokonia.
