Tronic RFID Key Card Switch, Induction Type (LF)

Our review

This Tronic switch is an induction-type RFID reader that grants entry when a key card personal to the user is presented, so there is no key to turn and no code to remember. It suits homeowners, landlords and small guesthouses that want simple card-based access at a door, and anyone who prefers not to hand out physical keys. Before buying, confirm the card frequency your existing cards use, since the listing names the induction type only as LF, and check that your door frame and wiring suit a switch of this style. Compare it with keypad locks, which need a shared code, and with mechanical locks, which cannot be reissued when a key goes missing. Cards can be replaced individually, which is the main practical advantage here. Installation is described as easy, though a qualified electrician is the safer route. Available on Sokonia.
