Tronic Rotary Changeover Switch 100A, AC 415V
TSh 296,500
Our review
This Tronic rotary switch is a manually operated changeover unit rated at 100 amps and AC 415 volts, built for on-load transfer between two supply sources. It also allows selection between two loads and provides emergency breaking, plus safe isolation of downstream circuits so maintenance work can be done without live conductors. It suits someone running a mains-and-generator setup, a workshop with two feeds, or any installation where a single downstream circuit must be switched between sources by hand. Before buying, confirm your total load current stays within the 100A rating, check that your supply is 415V AC, and measure the mounting space against the stated 350mm height and 455mm width. Compare it with automatic transfer switches if you need unattended switching, and with enclosed versus open units depending on where it will sit. A qualified electrician should size and install it, since conductor sizing, earthing and isolation practice all affect safety.
