Tronic Round Cable Clips 10mm
TSh 2,000
Our review
These Tronic clips are a simple fixing for round cables up to about 10mm across, the sort of size common for coaxial aerial or satellite leads. They suit anyone tidying a cable run along a wall, skirting board or floorboard, especially where a loose lead has become a trip hazard or just looks untidy. Fitting is basic: you position the clip over the cable and tap the nail into the mounting surface with a hammer. Before buying, check the diameter of your cable against the 10mm size, since a clip that is too small will pinch the wire and one that is too large will not grip it. Also think about the surface you are fixing into, as masonry may need a plug or a different fixing method. Compared with adhesive clips, nailed ones tend to hold better on rough timber and plaster, but they do put a hole in the surface. Cable ties or trunking are alternatives if you want to bundle several cables or avoid drilling.
