Tronic Round Surface LED Downlight 45W in White

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a round surface-mounted LED downlight rated at 45 watts, designed to run on AC 220-240 volts and finished in white with a PVC body. Because it mounts on the surface rather than recessed into a ceiling, it suits rooms where there is no ceiling void to cut into, such as concrete slabs or finished ceilings. The 45W rating puts it in the brighter range for a single downlight, so it is worth considering for larger rooms, higher ceilings or areas where one fitting needs to carry the lighting. Before buying, check the actual dimensions and beam angle, since these are not listed, and confirm the surface can take the fitting's weight and that a 220-240V supply is available at the mounting point. Compare it with recessed downlights if you have ceiling space, and with lower-wattage surface fittings if the room is small. The white PVC body keeps it visually neutral, and the stated one-year warranty is worth noting. Available on Sokonia.
