Tronic Satellite TV Socket in Ivory

Our review

This is a single wall socket from Tronic, finished in ivory, made to act as the connection point where your satellite TV cable meets the wall. It is the kind of part you buy when you are wiring or rewiring a room for a dish feed and want the cable to terminate neatly rather than run loose through a hole. It suits anyone setting up a satellite receiver in a living room, bedroom or office, and also suits installers who fit these points regularly. Before buying, check the connector type your satellite cable and receiver use, since the socket has to match the plug on your existing lead, and confirm the ivory finish works with your other wall plates. Compare it with other satellite sockets on connector type, how the faceplate mounts, and build quality, because a poor connection point is a common cause of a weak or unstable signal. Tronic is the brand to search for if you want to keep your fittings consistent. The listing gives no further specifications, so confirm the details you need on the product page before ordering. It is available on Sokonia.
