Tronic Scone Bulkhead Outdoor Wall Lamp

Our review

The Tronic Scone Bulkhead is an outdoor wall lamp made for spots like a front door or garden shed, where you want light thrown both downward and upward rather than in a single narrow beam. That two-way spread is the main thing setting it apart from a plain downlight, since it brightens the wall around it as well as the ground below, which helps when you are finding a keyhole or stepping onto a path after dark. It suits anyone lighting an entrance, side passage or outbuilding who prefers a softer, more even glow to a harsh spotlight. Before buying, check the mounting surface and height you plan to use, and confirm the fitting and bulb type match what you already have, since no specifications are listed here. Compare it with other bulkhead or up-and-down wall lights on brightness direction, build material and how exposed the position is to rain.
