Tronic Simple Line Wall Light, 7W Daylight, White Aluminium, 400mm

Our review

This is a linear wall-mounted light from Tronic, finished in white and made from aluminium, measuring 400mm wide and 80mm high. It runs on mains voltage of 220 to 240V and uses a 7W lamp in a daylight colour temperature, so the light it gives off is crisp and cool rather than warm. That makes it a reasonable pick for areas where you want clear, even illumination along a wall: a corridor, a stairwell, a bathroom mirror zone, or an outdoor covered entrance. Because the fitting is only 400mm across, it suits narrow walls and spaces where a bulkier lantern would look heavy. The simple line shape keeps it visually quiet, so it works in modern and minimal interiors as well as more traditional ones. Before buying, check the dimensions against the wall space you have in mind, and confirm the daylight tone is what you want, since some buyers prefer warmer light indoors. Also think about whether 7W gives enough brightness for your room, and whether you need a fitting with a higher output or a different shape. Compare it with other linear wall lights of similar width, and with round or bulkhead styles if you need something more enclosed. The aluminium body should hold up better than plastic in humid spots, though the listing gives no IP rating, so keep it out of direct rain unless you can verify that. A one-year warranty is stated. Available on Sokonia.
