Tronic Single PVC Wall Mounted Waterproof Box

Our review

This is a single surface-mounted box from Tronic, made in PVC and described as waterproof. It is designed for places where a socket could otherwise come into contact with water, so it suits bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, outdoor walls and similar damp or exposed spots. Because it mounts on the wall surface rather than sitting flush, you avoid chasing or chiselling the wall, which keeps the work and the mess down when installing electrical equipment. Before buying, check that the box's opening and depth match the socket or accessory you plan to fit, and confirm the fixing method suits your wall. Compare it with metal or flush-mounted alternatives, which may be sturdier or neater but usually need more preparation. Available on Sokonia.
