Tronic Single Spot Spike Light, GU10, IP54, Dark Grey

Our review

This is a single spike-mounted spotlight from Tronic, made in dark grey PVC and fitted with a GU10 base. It runs on AC 220–240V and carries an IP54 rating, so it is built to handle splashes and dust rather than full immersion. The small head is meant for accent work: picking out a statue, a tree trunk or a planted bed after dark, rather than flooding a whole lawn. It suits a gardener who wants a few discreet points of light and is happy to run cable to each one. Before buying, check that your supply matches 220–240V and that you have a GU10 lamp and suitable outdoor wiring, since neither is included. Compare it with other spike lights on base type, IP rating and head adjustability, and decide whether one spot is enough or you need several. Available on Sokonia.
