Tronic Spiral Cable Wrapping Band, 8mm Width

Our review

This is a spiral cable wrapping band from Tronic, sold with an 8mm width. It is the kind of wrap that coils around a bundle of cables, holding them together and adding a layer of protection where they rub against edges or each other. It suits anyone tidying a desk, a TV setup, a workshop bench or a vehicle, and it is handy for grouping charger leads, audio cables and similar thin runs. Before buying, measure the diameter of the bundle you want to wrap, since an 8mm band is best matched to the cable thickness and the look you want. Compare it with split tubing, which is quicker to fit but harder to adjust, and with hook-and-loop ties, which are reusable but offer less coverage. Spiral wrap lets you branch cables out at any point, which is its main advantage. Check the length you need and whether the band's material suits indoor or outdoor use, as those details are not listed here. It is available on Sokonia.
