Tronic Surface Downlight Round 12W Warm White

Our review

This is a round surface-mounted downlight from Tronic, rated at 12 watts and designed to give off a warm white light. Because it sits on the surface rather than being recessed, it can be a practical choice where there is no ceiling void to cut into, such as concrete slabs or finished ceilings. The warm white tone tends to suit living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality spaces where a softer, more relaxed feel is wanted rather than crisp task lighting. Before buying, check the dimensions and the base or fitting type, since none are listed here, and confirm your ceiling can take a surface fixture. It is also worth comparing against recessed downlights if you want a flush look, and against cool white versions if the room needs brighter, more clinical light.
