Tronic Surface Downlight Round 6W Tri Colour LED

Our review

This is a round surface-mounted downlight from Tronic, rated at 6 watts and able to switch between three colour temperatures: Warm White, Cool White and Daylight. Because it is a surface fixture rather than a recessed one, it is worth considering where you cannot or prefer not to cut into a ceiling. The tri-colour function suits anyone who wants one fitting to cover different moods or rooms, such as a warmer tone in a bedroom and a cooler, brighter light in a hallway, kitchen or workspace. Before buying, check the ceiling surface is flat and sound enough to mount the fitting, and confirm the diameter and depth will sit comfortably where you plan to install it. Also think about how you will switch between the three colour settings, since that method is not stated here. Compared with fixed-colour downlights, this gives more flexibility from a single unit; compared with recessed models, it protrudes slightly but avoids ceiling cutouts. Available on Sokonia.
