Tronic Surface Downlight Round 6W Warm White

Our review

This is a round surface-mounted downlight from Tronic, rated at 6 watts and finished in warm white. Because it sits on the surface rather than being recessed, it can be fitted where there is no ceiling void to hide a housing, which makes it worth considering for rooms where cutting into the ceiling is not practical. The warm white tone is the softer, more yellow-leaning kind of light, so it tends to suit bedrooms, living areas and hallways where a relaxed feel matters more than crisp task lighting. Before buying, check the dimensions of the fitting against the spot you have in mind, and confirm your existing wiring and switch setup are compatible, since none of that is covered in the listing. It is also worth comparing against recessed downlights if you do have ceiling space, and against cooler white options if the room needs brighter, more clinical light. As a single 6-watt unit, think about how many you need to light the space evenly. Available on Sokonia.
