Tronic ILU DLSQ-06-DL Surface Downlight Square 6W Daylight

Our review

This Tronic fixture is a square surface-mounted downlight rated at 6 watts in a daylight colour tone. Because it sits on the ceiling surface rather than recessing into it, it suits rooms where there is no ceiling void to cut into, such as concrete slabs, or where you would rather not damage an existing finish. It is a sensible pick for corridors, small rooms, and accent positions where a low-wattage fitting is enough. Before buying, check the ceiling surface is flat and sound, and confirm the daylight tone matches other lights in the same space. Compare with recessed downlights if you want a flush finish, and with warmer-toned versions if the room is a bedroom or lounge.
