Tronic SVGA HD Cable, 3 Metres
TSh 4,500
Our review
This is a three-metre SVGA cable from Tronic, intended for carrying a video signal between a computer and a display such as a monitor or projector. The extra length helps when your screen sits further from the machine than a short bundled lead allows, which is common on desks, in classrooms and in meeting rooms. It suits anyone running older VGA-style equipment or keeping a spare lead on hand. Before buying, confirm both devices have a matching SVGA port, since many newer laptops and screens rely on HDMI or DisplayPort instead. Also think about the resolution you need and whether a shorter cable would route more neatly. Compare against HDMI or DisplayPort leads if your hardware supports them, as those carry digital signals. Note that the marketplace listing's description text refers to a light fitting, so treat the cable details with care and check the listing itself.
