Tronic Vintage Frosted Glass Wall Light with Brass Finish

Our review

This Tronic wall light is a decorative fixture built around a vintage bell-shaped shade in frosted glass, carried on an arm with a brass finish. The frosted glass softens the light rather than throwing a sharp beam, and the brass tone gives the fitting a warm, traditional look. It suits anyone furnishing a hallway, bedroom, staircase or lounge in a classic, retro or heritage style, and it works well in pairs flanking a mirror or artwork. Because the listing gives no specifications, check the shade diameter, arm projection and backplate size against your wall space before ordering, and confirm the bulb fitting and wattage with the seller, since frosted glass can look dim with a low-output bulb. Compare it with plain opal or clear glass wall lights: frosted glass hides the bulb and reduces glare, but gives a softer, less directional glow. Also weigh the brass finish against chrome or matte black if the rest of your hardware is cooler in tone. Available on Sokonia.
