This Tronic fitting is a four-foot LED batten built around a T8 tube, with the whole unit sealed inside a polycarbonate casing rated IP65. That combination of impact-resistant plastic and water protection is what separates it from ordinary indoor battens, and it is the reason it turns up in car parks, under canopies, showers, restrooms, pedestrian tunnels, factories, garages and agricultural buildings. If your installation is exposed to damp, hose-down cleaning or the risk of knocks, this is the type of fixture to consider rather than a basic open batten. Before buying, confirm the length suits your mounting space and that your wiring and mounting method match a sealed fitting, since the casing changes how you open and re-lamp it.
