Tronic White Round LED Bulkhead 12W

Our review

This is a round, white, wall-mounted bulkhead light from Tronic, rated at 12 watts and built around fixed LED chips rather than a replaceable bulb. Because there is no bulb to swap, upkeep is limited to occasional cleaning, which suits stairwells, corridors, gateways, storefronts and other spots where a fitting stays up for years and nobody wants to keep climbing a ladder. The claimed efficiency is high, with the description suggesting electricity costs can fall by as much as 90% compared with older lighting, though your actual saving depends on what you are replacing and how long the light runs each night. Before buying, check the wall surface and mounting height, confirm the round shape and white finish match the surrounding paintwork, and think about whether 12 watts gives enough light for the area you have in mind. Compare it with other bulkheads on brightness, whether the LED module can be serviced, and how the diffuser handles dust and insects. It is available on Sokonia.
